Together we transform the lives of low-income homeowners by improving the health and safety of their homes and revitalizing our communities. Rebuilding Together Fox Valley (RTFV) provides critical repairs and accessibility modifications for low-income homeowners, including seniors, persons living with a disability, families with children and active or retired members of the armed services. These services are provided at no cost to the homeowner.

Our services ensure that qualified low-income homeowners live independently in warm, safe, healthy, and dry homes. We also rehabilitate properties that house qualifying non-profit organizations serving our community. The impact of our efforts extends beyond the individual families and nonprofit organizations we serve, as our work revitalizes and stabilizes vulnerable neighborhoods and communities across the Fox Valley.

Building A Healthy Neighborhood – RTFV focuses its efforts in a concentrated, high need area for 2-3 years, in partnership with several other nonprofits. Our goal is to repair 150-200 homes, while also fostering social connectedness, training skilled volunteers, and improving the safety of the neighborhood.

National Rebuilding Day - RTFV’s repair service includes most critical repairs necessary to maintain a safe and healthy living environment, including, but not limited to: major accessibility modifications (ramps, bathroom, etc.); basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry, flooring replacement, limited window repair, limited roof repair and fire safety installations.

*Please note that mobile homes are only eligible for accessibility ramps through this service.

Year-Round Services - RTFV’s year-round services provides timely small-scale repairs and safety and accessibility modifications. These repairs include grab bars, handrails, improved lighting, minor accessibility modifications, and fire safety installations.

*Please note that mobile homes are only eligible for fire safety installations through this program.
