In-kind contributions are donations of goods, services or time - instead of cash.

Tangible goods include things like equipment, building materials, vehicles/trailers, and supplies.  Goods may also be intangible, such as advertising.  Goods may be used, surplus, brand new or even loaned.

In-kind services are professional services donated by groups such as corporations, small businesses, vendors, colleges, individual professionals or tradespeople.  For example, a construction company could choose to help with a critical house repair.

An in-kind donation involving time occurs when people give their time free of charge or for payment by a third party on our behalf.  An employer might also loan paid employees to help support a project.
