Community Repair Volunteer
Do you enjoy fixing things, working with your hands, or simply helping others? Join our Community Repair Volunteer Team and help older adults, veterans, individuals with disabilities, and families with children live in safer, healthier homes throughout our six county service area.
Whether you're retired, work in the trades, enjoy DIY projects, or are simply looking to learn new skills while giving back, we'd love to have you on our team.
No Experience Required
You don't need to be a contractor or have years of construction experience. We can teach the skills.

What You'll Learn
Our volunteer training program is designed to prepare you to safely complete common home repairs and accessibility modifications.

Training includes:

In person hands on instruction

Safety training and best practices

Tutorial videos you can reference anytime

Onsite job shadow opportunities

Mentoring from experienced volunteers and staff

Ongoing learning opportunities as you gain experience
Our goal is to help you feel comfortable before working independently.
Time Commitment
We're looking for volunteers who can help on an ongoing basis.

Some volunteers complete two projects each month, while others join us every week.
We'll work with your schedule to find opportunities that fit your availability.
Training Details
​
Once you've completed training, you'll become part of our Community Repair Volunteer Team and receive invitations to projects throughout our service area.
You'll have the opportunity to choose projects that fit your interests, skills, and availability.

Every project helps a homeowner remain safe, independent, and in the home they love.
